Greece is pairing the €350 million HELLAS-SPACE 2.0 programme with its roughly €200 million national microsatellite programme, over €550 million to 2030, says Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou. Finland’s ICEYE plans a Greek plant able to build 150 satellites a year with 100+ jobs, and Open Cosmos already works from Pallini. The aim is for Greek firms to win at least half of the contracts. Our take: factories, not only funding, make a space nation.
