Ariane 6 completes Europe’s new weather satellite trio

The second Meteosat Third Generation imager, MTG-I2, launched on Ariane 6 flight VA270 from Kourou, completing Europe’s latest trio of geostationary weather satellites. Our take: the forecast on your phone starts 36,000 km up, and much of Europe’s now comes from satellites launched from French Guiana.
