Starfish Space’s first full-scale Otter, an electric-propulsion servicer that can grab flat surfaces without a docking fixture, flies no earlier than October on SpaceX’s Transporter-18. From 2027 it will approach defunct US satellites for NASA’s $15 million SSPICY mission, the agency’s first paid commercial debris inspection. Our take: before anyone can clean up space junk, someone has to find out how it tumbles.
