Rules for visitors
Astrometrik is free to use. Events are run by their organisers; these short rules explain tickets, photos and comments, nicknames and the SOS button.
1. Free use
You can use astrometrik.com free of charge: the sky data, the calendar, the game and the event pages.
2. Events are run by the organisers
Astrometrik is not the organiser of the events in the calendar. Each event is run by its organiser, for example a club, observatory, planetarium or university. The organiser is responsible for the event: times, safety, prices, changes and cancellations. Please send questions about an event to its organiser.
Astrometrik never takes money. If an event costs something, the organiser tells you how to pay.
3. Tickets
Your ticket belongs to your booking and is valid for the number of people you registered. Do not share your ticket link: anyone who has it can open your ticket.
4. Photos and comments
At some events you can post photos and comments. The organiser checks every post before it becomes public.
Not allowed:
- unlawful content;
- hateful, insulting or threatening content;
- private data of other people, such as phone numbers or addresses;
- pictures of people who have not agreed to be shown.
Only post pictures that you may share. By posting, you allow the organiser and Astrometrik to show your post free of charge on the event pages and when these pages are shared, until the post is deleted.
If you see a post that breaks these rules, report it. A post that is reported three times is hidden again. You can delete your own posts on My tickets & my data.
5. Nicknames
Nicknames appear in public, for example in rankings. Do not use another person's name, do not pretend to be someone else, and do not use offensive or unlawful words. Nicknames that break these rules can be removed.
6. Age
You must be at least 14 years old to post photos or comments or to use a public nickname. Younger people need the consent of a parent.
7. SOS is not an emergency service
The SOS button sends a message to the organisers of the event. It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call the emergency number shown on the page (112 in the EU and in Turkey).
8. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and personal injury. Otherwise, our liability for slight negligence is excluded, as far as the law allows. We are not responsible for the events themselves; the organisers are.
