On 4 October, the eve of the IAC, the Ministers and Parliamentarians Meeting in Antalya adopted the “Space for Peace Antalya Declaration”, signed by 32 participants from 21 countries. It covers peaceful research, space law, sustainable space economy and bringing developing nations into the field. Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır called it a first for this IAC meeting. Our take: symbolic, but a useful diplomatic calling card for the host.
