The world’s largest space hackathon returns on 14–15 November under the theme “The Next Frontier”. More than 450 local events take part, and anyone without one nearby can join online through the Universal Event. Teams have at most six members; Turkish organisers stress that students, engineers, designers, programmers and anyone curious about space can join, alone or in a team, and that taking part is free. Registration closes on 15 November. Our take: it is one of the few ways to work on real NASA data over a weekend without any prior track record.
