Avio says SpaceX’s full order book is sending it customers

On Avio’s earnings call, chief executive Giulio Ranzo said customers turned away by SpaceX, which has stopped taking some Falcon 9 bookings beyond 2028, are coming to Avio. Vega C can fly four times a year today and could reach six with more investment and ESA support. Our take: Europe’s smaller rockets win when the market leader is full – but only if they can fly often enough to take the work.
