Launched on 1 October, the Dragon carrying Jessica Watkins, Luke Delaney, Joshua Kutryk and Sergey Teteryatnikov docked at the Harmony module 7 h 55 min later, the fastest launch-to-docking of a US spacecraft in ISS history. With 11 people now aboard, NASA targets Crew-12’s undocking no earlier than 7 October and a splashdown off California on 8 October. Our take: a shorter commute is a small but real gain for crew comfort.
